இலங்கையில் விசா கட்டணம் அறவிடப்படாத நாடுகளின் பட்டியல் வெளியீடு

  இலங்கையின் சுற்றுலாத் துறையை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில், அரசாங்கம் மேலும் 33 நாடுகளுக்கு இலவச விசா வழங்கும் திட்டத்தை விரிவுபடுத்த தீர்மானித்துள்ளது.

இதற்கு முன்னர், சீனா, இந்தியா, இந்தோனேசியா, ரஷ்யா, தாய்லாந்து, மலேசியா மற்றும் ஜப்பான் ஆகிய 7 நாடுகளுக்கு விசா கட்டணத்தை அறவிடாமல் இருக்க அரசாங்கம் தீர்மானித்திருந்தது.

இந்தத் திட்டத்தால் அரசாங்கத்திற்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் 66 மில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டொலர் வருமான இழப்பு ஏற்படலாம்.
